I think it'd be a nice surprise and would add some difficulty to have each boss perform new, more deadly skills as you advance in tiers, or modify their skills at higher levels.įor example, when I fought Sunken Crew 1, I don't recall the regen effect their anchor move had on the main boss. None of the higher level bosses seem to have new tricks when you fight them. On a similar note, this advice might be outdated as I've been playing the same campaign since the Corpse and the Hound. I ended up not losing anyone, but it's the only boss fight I retreated on to come back with a better team. I assumed if I abandoned someone in the pot, they we're lost, so I made sure to get them out of the pot before I retreated. I made the mistake of killing Wilbur first, and was too stubborn to retreat, causing my only full party wipe. The ones that gave me the most trouble are also the most memorable: Wilbur and the Hag. I think you guys have done a solid job with the bosses, each providing a unique mechanic that needs to be handled.
